Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Defense and Subrogation
Our goal in defending Nebraska Workers’ Compensation cases is to advise clients in every stage of the claim. From the date of the accident until the conclusion of any litigation, it is our primary objective to provide proactive representation. We work closely with our clients to develop an agreed upon action plan to efficiently move the case forward. We pride ourselves in our responsiveness to our clients, recognizing that answering questions quickly and thoroughly makes all the difference in the direction a claim moves and how quickly and reasonably it can be resolved. When cases proceed to trial or even to appeal, we actively narrow the issues, streamline proceedings, and vigorously defend our clients. With our combined years of experience, the attorneys of Caswell, Panko & Westerhold defend cases ranging from simple extremity injuries to catastrophic claims which involve years of medical treatment and management.
We also aggressively protect our clients’ subrogation interests when a workplace accident results from the negligence of a third party. We both minimize the exposure for our clients in the workers’ compensation case and actively pursue maximum compensation by the third-party tort feasor.
Our attorneys provide education to employers, insurers and third-party administrators on all aspects of workers’ compensation law, from workers’ compensation basics to advanced topics. We also speak at educational seminars at the regional and national level.
Iowa Workers’ Compensation Defense and Subrogation
Our firm works with employers across the State of Iowa to manage all aspects of Iowa workers’ compensation and subrogation claims from onset through litigation and appeal. We work to educate clients on best management practices, workers’ compensation laws, as well as legislative changes impacting the law. By partnering with our clients early we position claims for a favorable resolution whether it be through settlement or litigation.
In addition, our ability to manage and defend claims in both Nebraska and Iowa allow us to best serve our regional clients and to support clients with multi-jurisdictional claims. Defending claims in both Nebraska and Iowa also provides us with a broad perspective of workers’ compensation laws, as well as workers’ compensation legislation. We use this additional depth to our advantage in advising clients and developing our strategy for defense of claims.
